With more than twenty years experience, Terry has extensive knowledge of advancement and fundraising programs, systems, database management, prospect research, prospect tracking, operations, and management in operations and support. Terry has served as senior consultant with Marts & Lundy, a senior consultant, business architect and account manager with Computer Sciences Corporation and at Bentz Whaley Flessner as a principal of the firm and earlier as a managing and senior associate.

He brings a unique perspective to his clients, having worked in the commercial and public sectors where he led local, state, and national level information system projects.  His clients have included a wide range of institutions such as Colleges and Universities, Health Care, Environmental and Arts organizations.  Terry's clients include institutions such as Brown University, California Institute of Technology, Cedars-Sinai Hospital, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Creighton University, Florida State University, Georgetown University, Harvard Law School, Lafayette College, National Audubon Society, National Geographic Society, Purdue University, Queens University Canada, Southern Methodist University, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (ALSAC Foundation), State University New York - Buffalo, several University of California and California State Universities, University of Cincinnati Foundation, University of Connecticut Foundation.

A graduate of the University of Oregon, Terry also holds a master’s degree from The Ohio State University.  He received training in fundraising at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, has chaired CASE’s “ePhilanthropy” conference, and presented at a number of national and regional fundraising conferences such as CASE, AFP, APRA and CSA and national software user-group conferences.

Terry and his wife Laura, a professional cellist, lived in Central America for five years, beginning with the Peace Corps in Costa Rica and then working in Mexico where they taught and performed.  They currently reside in Eagan, Minnesota.
